A pretty walk in an ecological path: a zone for the conservation of the nature, and dedicated to the observation of flora and fauna. Coming to the viewing-point, there is a wonderful point of view of the valley Las Trancas : hills, volcanoes and the glaciar.

1.3/ TREKKING

1.1 Refugio Shangrila: trek up to the left refuge, walk along rivers of lava and native forest

1.2 El Mirador : Trek up to the viewing-point, sight on everything the valley Las Trancas
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Level: interval
1.3 Las Fumarolas: transfer up to the ski resort, trek up to the fumaroles and bath of mud
  • Duration: from 3 hours to half a day
  • Level: interval
1.4 Laguna Huemul: Trek up to the lagoon and picnic.

It is one of the nicest lagoons of Chile, located at the top of a slope of Shangri La valley. The incredible point of view will surprise you by its turquoise waters. But the lagoon is not the only advantage of this trekking!
Before acceding to this place you will have the opportunity to cross centenary forests.

1.5 Aguas calientes: Transfer up to the ski resort, trek up to rivers of warm water, bath and picnic

They are the unique in Chile and you have to do it if you come in summer. More than five rivers of warm waters are waiting by you. Discover the nicest and former rivers of the valley.
To accede to the rivers, you will pass for fumaroles, will see baths of mud in boiling. Come to the Warm Waters and take the time to bath and relax in this incredible place. An exceptional experience that you’ll never forget.

1.6 Volcán Chillán Renegado:  Trip in the middle of a native forest, the unique kinds of flowers, sight to the glacier and volcano, and picnic.
1.7 Waldorf: It is the kingdom of the waterfalls! The mountain refuge Waldorf was constructed by the German. To come to the Waldorf, you will cross volcanic paths, forests and small rivers of water. You will discover also an abundant flora, typical of the Bio Bio region.

1.4/ CLIMBING

There are many places to climb in the middle of the nature around the Lodge. There are walls with different levels: from beginners to difficult.

If you like biking, cross-country, there are a multitude of paths are waiting for you.

1.6/ CANOPY  ECOPARQUE

Ideal for families, friends, walking from tree to tree, all that with full safety (European procedure), with guides highly trained and the top quality equipment .
The circuits, done in the trees offer a wide variety of games: Tyrolean, suspended bridges, meshes, stairs, Tarzan’s jump and games of balances…
Each circuit is accessible from 5 to 7 years: there is a circuit for children and a circuit for adults with different levels.
All is well-considered and done to preserve the ecosystem.
To guarantee the safety, you will be under the watch of a guide, specially trained for this activity. We also give you the complete equipment with harnesses, crabs, pulley, tapes and helmets to the European norm. You will be insure by our company of insurance: Inter-American Insurance.
